US compromises India with sanctions over acquisition of Russian S-400 air guard frameworks: report

ISLAMABAD – The United States has clarified that India is probably not going to get a waiver on its arranged securing of Russian S-400 air safeguard frameworks.

A US government office Spokesperson in New Delhi said that the United States knows about reports of India's arranged acquisition of the S-400s.

He said any such move could make the nation face sanctions like those forced on Turkey for purchasing that hardware, Radio Pakistan said in a select report.

The representative said the US has not made any waiver conclusions as for Indian exchanges with Russia.

The Trump organization has been advising the Indians to drop the 5.5 billion dollars bargain for five rocket frameworks and keep away from a political emergency.

An expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington Richard Rossow said there is a limited possibility that India can keep away from sanctions, assuming the S-400 buy is finished. He said right now, it's a decent wagered that approvals will be applied against India.
